We have a range of activities for all ages and abilities, including football, netball, tennis, bowling, basketball, boot camp, power hoops and Tai Chi.

We have something for everyone, from Mothers and Toddlers, Irish Dancing, Luncheon Club, History Group, Sensing Spirit Group to Thespians.

The hall is a popular venue for parties and celebrations. It is well equipped with a surround sound cinema, quality audio and lighting and all at very reasonable prices.

The Welfare is run by a committee of unpaid volunteers. We receive no external  financial aid and rely on fundraising, donations and grant support.

We arrange an exciting programme of varied social events from live music and dancing to quiz nights, magic shows, ceilidhs, race nights and beetle drives.

Contact us to book tickets for events, for enquiries about booking the hall.  Or if you would like to get involved – you would be made very welcome.

Coronavirus – The Thurgoland Hub

We are living in uncertain times and yet, as a community, we are seeing many acts of kindness and practical support. Sometimes though there are some who get missed, can’t access the support on offer or are simply unaware of the help at hand.
We want to help everyone in our neighbourhood feel able to access support when they need it during this challenging time and so a number of community groups have joined together and formed the Thurgoland Parish Hub.
Let’s find out where to find information and support by reading more!
